Mallorie Mitchell

After clerking with the firm during law school and after graduation, Mallorie N. Mitchell joined Richter, Head, Shinall, White & Slotkin, LLP as an Associate Attorney in September 2025. Mallorie attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate education, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in political science; minor in English; minor in law, jurisprudence, and the State; and certificate in legal studies. While at UGA, Mallorie conducted undergraduate research for the Human Rights Measurement Initiative and joined the Alpha Phi International Fraternity, where she held several leadership positions.

Mallorie then went on to obtain her J.D. at the Mercer University School of Law, where she received the Larry & Beth Dessem Scholarship for merit and was named a Georgia Scholar. There, she was invited onto the Mercer Advocacy Council as a member of the moot court team. During her moot court career, Mallorie succeeded in national moot court competitions across the country, being awarded as a finalist in Georgia’s Intrastate Moot Court Competition and receiving Best Brief awards in both the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and Billings, Exum, and Frye National Moot Court Competition. In addition, Mallorie received Mercer Law’s faculty award for Legal Writing, as well as the CALI Award for Legal Writing I. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers national honor society for her demonstration in excellent oral advocacy and brief writing.

Mallorie prides herself on her passion for litigation, which she now applies to her practice in defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims. Outside of the firm, Mallorie enjoys playing the piano, going to the lake, and spending quality time with her family and fiancé, Wes.
