Alex C. Devilliers
Alex C. Devilliers is an associate at Richter, Head, Shinall, White & Slotkin, LLP. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in 2016, Alex received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. At Indiana, Alex focused his studies on entertainment and employment law, and he discovered a penchant for litigation during his third year. He was involved in several law school organizations and was an editor for Indiana’s IP Theory Journal. Most proudly, at Indiana, Alex was elected the 2019 J.D. class speaker by his peers and had the honor of delivering the student commencement address to his peers, friends, and family, at Maurer’s 2019 graduation ceremony.
After law school, Alex began his legal practice handling employment discrimination matters with a small boutique firm in Atlanta, where he developed the strong litigation skills and appellate experience that follow him into his workers’ compensation defense practice at Richter Head.
Outside the office, Alex has a wide array of interests. He loves all things horror—be it movies, books, or podcasts. A self-proclaimed weather nerd, Alex enjoys “desktop storm chasing” during tornado and hurricane seasons. Alex was a wrestler in high school and was president of the Auburn University wrestling club while in undergrad, so he still enjoys following the sport in additional to college football. If time allows, Alex also enjoys hosting game nights with his friends. But, above of all, Alex loves spending time with his wife, Natalie, and playing in the backyard with his dog, Petunia. He always makes time for that.
